Happy Tuesday everyone! I am so thrilled to share the next part of our Visual Sound Series with you all. In this specific session Bradley played the African Marimba and I responded with acrylic paint on canvas paper. We used a 10 minute time frame for this session.
As you will see in the video below, I seemed to use mostly bright warm colours like reds, yellows and oranges. I think this is due to the full, resonant and vibrant sound of the marimba. Would you agree?
